The Art of Life
The Art of Life
Orchestral holy, salvific notes of daily tome:
Character shaped in resplendent recitation,
Keynotes drifting to inspired home.
Beauty cascades as paint-clad margins,
Life's subtleties animated as ethereal dome.
A day well-lived, as dried pigment hardens,
When divine transcendence is truly known.
A soul shone through as palatial marble,
Cracked and caved by mortification wrought.
Upon a pedestal, elevated unto glory:
Divine goodness embodied sans self-same rot.
Leased visage of Heaven, offered as basilica for;
Eases and chartered glass, purified--evermore.
Life descends as poetic reflection:
Gratitude, not possession, of what is Yours.
