Simplicity, Peace, and Fixedness
Simplicity, Peace, and Fixedness
Twiddling and twirling of the muteds and the grays:
An ode to solemnity on a placid summer day.
Sunshine shining, beset with fervor and praise,
And yet what of the subtlety of contentedness under life’s clouded skies?
What of still-small whispers amidst the torrents of numbing delights?
What of humble otherness admired for its own sake?
In a drop of dew, one finds the fullness of beauty itself;
And yet among the busied and hurried blessings of life, one finds only inundation
To adore a drop of divine blood is to enter a microcosm of participation:
All life, in joy, consolidates into equanimity, firmly fixed upon oneness — Divine Simplicity.
